The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has announced two job vacancies for Administrative Officer IV positions at its Consular Office in Tacloban City, with a monthly salary of Php 36,619.

The first position requires a Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job, four hours of relevant training, one year of relevant experience, and a Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility. The candidate should also possess strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word, excellent interpersonal skills, sound work ethics, and should be responsible and diligent in the required work.

The second position requires similar qualifications, including a preference for a degree in BS Accountancy or Accounting Technology, a PRC License (Accountant) or Civil Service (Professional)/Second Level Eligibility, and completion of four hours of relevant training.

Interested applicants are requested to submit a duly accomplished DFA application form, work experience sheet (if applicable), an updated resume, copies of relevant certifications, a valid NBI clearance or proof of renewal or new application, and certificates of good moral character from their current/previous employer or school.

Additionally, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) is hiring an Administrative Officer IV (Financial Analyst) with a monthly salary of Php 36,619.

The applicant should be a Filipino citizen and hold a bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science or any degree related to the job. They should also have fast typing skills, working knowledge of MS Office applications, and office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices. Excellent written and oral communication skills are also required.

The minimum qualifications for this position include completion of two years of college, four hours of relevant training, one year of relevant experience, and Career Service Sub-Professional Eligibility.

A Bachelor’s degree holder with competencies in computer literacy, project management, events management, technical writing, attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, team management, protocol administration, foreign language proficiency, and a pleasing personality is preferred.
