BuCor Recruitment 2024 Guidelines

For RC2024, take note of the following guidelines:

  • Start of acceptance of folders: January 12, 2024.
  • Acceptance schedule: 0800H to 1400H, Mondays to Fridays.
  • Deadline for acceptance: February 02, 2024.

Applicants must submit their folders personally for proper dissemination of instructions. Incomplete applications or those sent through courier/other persons will not be processed/accepted.

Each applicant will receive a stub to track their progress throughout the recruitment process. Without the Recruitment Stub, applicants will not be entertained.

Ensure you follow the proper attire guidelines when submitting your application.

Minimum Requirements

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be a Citizen of the Republic of the Philippines.
  • Possess good moral character.
  • Pass the psychiatric/psychological, drug, and physical tests.
  • Hold a Baccalaureate Degree from a recognized institution.
  • Possess the appropriate civil service eligibility.
  • Not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed from previous employment.
  • Not have been convicted of an offense involving moral turpitude.
  • Meet height requirements (1.57m for males, 1.52m for females, with possible waivers for cultural community applicants).

*Note: Corrections Officer I age limit is 40 years old per R.A. 10575, with waivers available for those above 36 years old.

Accepted Eligibilities

Accepted eligibilities include:

  • CSC Career Service Professional Eligibility
  • P.D. 907 (CSC College Honor Graduate Eligibility)
  • Penology Officer Eligibility
  • CSC Police Officer Eligibility (July 1998 onwards)
  • BAR/Board Eligibility (R.A. 1080)

*R.A. 1080 Eligibilities must require the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree.

Physical, Medical, and Dental Evaluation Guidelines

Ensure all tests and clearances are done ONLY in a DOH-ACCREDITED GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL.

Additional grounds for disqualification include tattoos (except for aesthetic enhancement), unusual body piercing, underweight/overweight, defective visual perception, speech defect, and more.

Application Requirements

Folder 1: Documents

  • Letter of Intent
  • Duly accomplished Personal Data Sheet (CSC Form 212)
  • Authenticated copy of Certificate of Eligibility
  • Official Transcript of Records (TOR) and Diploma
  • PSA Birth Certificate and other relevant certificates
  • NBI and Local Police Clearance
  • IPCR, Service Record, and other documents for government employees
  • NCIP or NCMF Certificate of Confirmation (COC) if height requirement is not met
  • Photocopies of TIN ID, PAG-IBIG ID, and PhilHealth ID

Folder 2: Additional Documents

  • Duly accomplished Personal Data Sheet (CSC Form 212)
  • NBI and Local Police Clearance
  • Brgy., RTC, MTC/MCTC/MeTC/MeCTC, and Prosecution Clearances
  • PSA Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate
  • Diploma, Certificate of Employment, and Passport
  • NOTARIZED waiver to undergo B.I
  • Sketch of house/residence and two latest 2×2 ID pictures

*Note: Corrections Officer I application folder must be tabbed as listed. Incomplete documents will not be accepted.
