Job Description

A CNC Machinist operates and programs computer-controlled machine tools to create precise metal or plastic parts. They prepare machines, test software, and ensure high-quality part production.

As a CNC Machinist, you’ll:

  • Develop CNC programs from drawings and technical specs.
  • Verify and optimize programs for efficiency.
  • Install tools and fixtures on CNC machines.
  • Set machine parameters for quality production.
  • Monitor and maintain machines for smooth operation.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on produced parts.
  • Collaborate with the production team and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate/ALS certified.
  • 3 (Three) years of CNC Operator experience, preferably with Voortman brand and CNC Beamcut 6-axis.
  • Ability to operate and program CNC Machines.
  • Interpret drawings and technical specs.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to product quality.
  • Good understanding of safety procedures.
  • A 4-wheel driver’s license is an asset.
  • Good English communication skills.

Salary

According to Talent.com, the average CNC Machinist salary in Canada is $53,625 per year (around Php 2,222,043.04) or $27.50 per hour (around Php. 1,139.51).
