The Department of the Interior and Local Government (Filipino: Kagawaran ng Interyor at Pamahalaang Lokal), abbreviated as DILG, is the executive department of the Philippine government responsible for promoting peace and order, ensuring public safety and strengthening local government capability aimed toward the effective delivery of basic services to the citizenry.

DILG-NCR is one of the 17 regional offices of the Department of the Interior and Local Government serving the 17 Local Government Units (LGUs) of Metro Manila, the Philippines’ seat of governance. Established in 1988, DILG-NCR has a total of 17 field offices, one situated in every LGU in Metro Manila. Its regional office is located in Sugar Regulatory Administration Compound in Diliman, Quezon City. In fulfillment of its mandate of providing general supervision to local governments, DILG-NCR continues to create venues to respond to the needs of its LGUs, from the City and Municipal level, down to its 1,710 barangays.

As a regional office, DILG-NCR aims to strengthen the capabilities of every LGU in Metro Manila by providing technical assistance on programs, projects, and activities relating to effective local governance. One (1) Project Officer II – Civil Engineer (SG14/ Php 32,321 Monthly Salary)

  • Place of Assignment: Local Administrative Development Division (DILG Central Office)
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
    • Preferably Licensed Civil Engineer
    • Minimum of 3-years experience on Infrastructure or Construction Development (preparation of feasibility study, preparation of detailed engineering design, procurement and construction supervision and operations and maintenance)
    • Computer Literate
    • Preferably with good communication and technical writing skills

One (1) Project Officer II – Web Developer (SG14/ Php 32,321 Monthly Salary)

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or any I.T. related Course
    • Must have at least 1 year of experience in Project Management tools, Applications Development and Database Design
    • Preferably with high knowledge in development concepts/tools like Php5, MySQL, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, etc.
    • Should have experience in developing an interactive Application Programming Interface (API)
    • Must be skilled in reporting and data visualization, with strong presentation skills
    • Preferably with good communication and technical writing skills

Four (4) Project Officer I (SG12/ Php 27,608 Monthly Salary)

  • Place of Assignment: Local Administrative Development Division (DILG Central Office)
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in social sciences, public administration, development studies, communication, journalism, and other studies
    • One (1) year of relevant experience (preferably in Government development programs and in project management)
    • Four (4) hours of relevant training
    • Preferably with good communication and technical writing skills
