The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has announced vacancies for the positions of Administrative Officer V and Administrative Officer I (Consular Officer).

The Administrative Officer V position requires a Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job, two years of relevant work experience, completion of eight hours of relevant training, and a Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility.

The Administrative Officer I position requires a Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job, Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility, and at least one year of experience in customer service and other related experience.

Moreover, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in the Philippines has a job opening for a Supervising Administrative Officer (Budget Officer IV) in their Office of Financial Management Services.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the Director of the Budget Division in the preparation and execution of the DFA Budget, representing the DFA on routine budget meetings with oversight agencies, monitoring the budget utilization of the Department, analyzing and reviewing the use of ATN and LAF, preparing and submitting financial reports to oversight agencies, and evaluating and updating the efficient and effective utilization of financial resources for improving the budgetary process in the Department.

To qualify for the position, applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job, 16 hours of relevant training, three years of relevant experience, and Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility.

Additional qualifications include being computer literate with strong Excel skills, having GACPA, PICPA, and AGIA training certificates on government accounting and procurement, and having RA 1080 (Certified Public Accountant) eligibility. The monthly salary for the position is Php 71,511.
