Originally established as the National Science and Development Board (NSDB) on 13 June 1958, it was reconstituted as the National Science and Technology Authority (NSTA) on 17 March 1981 with the vision of “A competent and competitive science and technology community with a social conscience.”

  • Place of Assignment: To provide support to DOST-NCR Strategic Communication and Creatives Unit on the creation of Science and Technology (S&T) promotional materials and management of S&T promotional activities.
  • Job Qualifications:
    • Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Communication or Multimedia Arts, or other related courses.
    • With at least one (1) year of relevant experience is an advantage.
    • With at least four (4) hours of relevant training is an advantage.
    • Has experience in video production and photo shoot.
    • Knowledgeable in using various video and photo editing software/ tools.
    • Knowledgeable in using various social media platforms.
    • Able to craft storyboards.
    • Can analyze data and make presentations and perform monitoring and evaluation of implemented S&T promotional activities.

  • Job Qualifications:
    • Graduate of any Science Course preferably related to social science such as social work, sociology, community development.
    • With at least one (1) year of relevant experience is an advantage.
    • With at least four (4) hours of relevant training is an advantage.
    • Experience in community organization and development is an advantage.
    • With basic knowledge on project proposal and technical reports preparation.
    • Has experience in analysis and presentation of data using programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • With excellent analytical skills.
    • Proficient in oral and written communication.
    • Organized and can work with minimum supervision.
