Job Description

As an FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) Welder, you will be responsible for welding tasks and ensuring quality standards are met. 

To be a good welder, you must know how to use welding equipment safely and pay close attention to details.

What You’ll Do:

  • Read and interpret blueprints for welding requirements.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders, gas torches, and plasma cutters.
  • Perform FCAW welding tasks for structural steel, pipes, and plates.
  • Inspect and test welds to meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools.
  • Follow safety protocols during welding operations.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
  • Keep a logbook of welding-related activities.


  • Experience with FCAW (90%) and SMAW (10%).
  • Familiarity with big structural welding.
  • Open to candidates with experience in welding heavy equipment.
  • Driver’s license required.
  • Good communication skills.
  • High school education or relevant courses/training/certification in FCAW welding.
