The Industrial Technology Development Institute (ITDI) undertakes technical services such as, but not limited to, standards, analytical and calibration services need by the industry. It is responsible for the transfer of research results directly to end-users or via linkages with other government agencies.
The ITDI is among the instrumentalities that laid the groundwork, in the early years, for S&T in the country. Today, it is one of the DOST’s RDIs (research and development institutes) and undertakes multidisciplinary industrial R&D, technical services, and knowledge translation or technology transfer and commercialization. ITDI harnesses know-how in new technology and product innovation, and through the years, has emerged as a credible and reliable industry and government partner in accelerating growth and development in the country.

- Place of Assignment: Contract-of-Service under Project, “Generation of a Plant Virus Vector for Protein Expression and Functional Gene Analysis in Abaca and Banana”
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Virology, Molecular Biology, or other related fields. With MS units or MS graduates
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in molecular biology, virology, or microbiology. Knowledgeable in the operation of laboratory equipment (PCR, etc.). With excellent written and oral communication skills.
One (1) Project Assistant III (Php 33,130 Monthly Salary)
- Place of Assignment: Contract-of-Service under the project ‘Biological Control Potential of Bacteriophage Cocktails for Bacterial Diseases of Papaya’
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, or any related courses
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in financial and administrative work. Should be computer literate and output-oriented
