The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) requires its applicants to meet general and minimum qualifications to be considered for the job.

For general qualifications, applicants must be a citizen of the Republic of the Philippines, of good moral character, have passed the neuro-psychiatric evaluation, medical examination and drug test to determine their physical and mental health, must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed from previous employment, and must not have been convicted of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude.

For minimum qualifications, applicants must hold a Baccalaureate degree, possess any of the following 2nd level eligibilities (PRC, MARINA, CSC Prof/ PD 907/ FOE), be at least 1.57 meters or 5’2″ in height for male and 1.52 meters or 5’0″ for female, weigh not more or less than five (5) kilograms from the standard weight corresponding to their height, age, and sex, and be not less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age on the actual date of appointment, assumption of duty/oath of office.

Remember, submission of a recent ECG Result and Serum Pregnancy Test for females is also required. These must be conducted in any Government Health facility or DOH-accredited private laboratories, and the results must be submitted in a sealed envelope together with a certification.

If you are unable to submit any of the required documents during the Initial Screening and Evaluation, execute a notarized affidavit of undertaking stating that you will submit said lacking documents on or before the deadline. Failure to do so will mean disqualification from the Recruitment Process.
