Job Description: SMT Technician

• Ensure the operability of production equipment
• Troubleshooting of equipment and machines, documenting errors and repairs according to the requirements (eg. lost machine time, replaced parts, adjustment settings)
• Follow the escalation plan during troubleshooting
• Setting up machines according to the requirements
• Perform setups for the machine as specified
• Collect components from the local and central Tool warehouse in case of component change
• Participate in machine installations, support the external company during the installation process
• Conservation of tools and machine parts entrusted to use
• Report failures and anomalies as required
• Perform inspections and controls according to the Control Plan (eg. gold sample measurement, IMS checklists)
• Perform the related tasks according to the Autonomous Maintenance Instruction

What are the qualifications?

• A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Experience: 1-3 years experience in electronics manufacturing, production area as a technician or preventive maintenance technician
• Other knowledge: quality standards and methods, statistic methods, PLC knowledge
• Candidate with experience in Wire Bond & Die Attach equipment maintenance is an advantage
• Familiar with SMT Machines,Laser Marking and Plasma machine.
